We were contacted by the client to provide a price to install an approved floor coating to 4Nr. Lift floors.
We were advised that if successful we would be required to send our guys on a one-day training course with OTIS plus a half day induction before we could gain access to site.
We were given the instruction to carry out the works during normal working hours, however, prior to commencement, we were advised that our works would have to be carried out within engineering hours instead.
Each lift floor was prepared and received the full Firesafe system within one engineering shift, due to its fast curing properties.
The contract was completed in 4hour consecutive shifts to meet the client’s deadline without any problems or delays and all to the client’s satisfaction.
The product we used was Contar Resins Firesafe Anti-Slip system as this has LUL approval with section 12 for use on London Underground.
